Albert Bichot ‘Secret de Famille’ Bourgogne Côte d’Or Chardonnay

In the heart of winegrowing Burgundy lies the Côte d’Or, where the region’s most prestigious wines thrive. To shine a light on these exceptional terroirs, the “Côte d’Or” geographical denomination was established in 2017.

Bourgogne Côte d’Or wines adhere to stricter production regulations compared to Bourgogne wines. This entails lower yields, identical planting density to village wines, and vineyards exclusively located in the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits.

Bichot’s  “Secret de Famille” is meticulously crafted from a blend of grapes sourced from carefully selected plots in celebrated Côte de Beaune villages renowned for their exquisite white wines, such as Saint-Aubin, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, and more. These rich terroirs, combined with meticulous vinification and ageing, yield an expressive, remarkably elegant wine.

Producer’s Tasting Notes

The fine nose offers citrus fruit and white flower notes, evolving into hints of honey and dried fruit. On the palate, it’s full-flavoured and elegant, striking a perfect balance between roundness and minerality.
