Holden Manz Wine Estate, known as Franschhoek’s hidden gem, is located in the southernmost corner of the stunningly beautiful Franschhoek Valley.

The 22 hectare Estate is owned by the Anglo-German Holden-Manz family since 2010.

The Visionaire is produced using grapes exclusively from Franschhoek. Their take on a spicy Bordeaux style blend, Visionaire consists of 35% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, 11% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec and 4% Petit Verdot.

The individual wines were matured separately for 18 months in 225 litre French oak barrels of which 20% were new with the remainder 2nd and 3rd fill. The blend was compiled and allowed to continue barrel maturation for a further 6 months.
