2011 was one of the most lauded vintages in recent memory. Smith Woodhouse delivered on its characteristic reputation for producing excellent, lower-profile wine from the vintage. It shows intense characteristics of blueberry, spice, kirsch, plums, and blackcrurrant, as well as roast coffee, cacao, hazelnuts, and slate. Will drink well until 2060.
