Some PX sherries are more like puddings on their own! This wine (though lusciously sweet) offers a great deal of complexity from its 30 years in the solera. It is made from wines originally made to become Nectar sherry, which have a much longer journey to complete before they are bottled. After being fractionally blended over 30 years, they are eventually tapped off the end of the solera and sold. This wine shows the traditional raisin and dried plum characteristics of PX, with a number of other aromas and flavours such as bitter chocolate, mint, balsamic, incense and ash.
